We are the historical Boy Scout Troop 69, located in Palatine, Illinois. We were chartered in October 1950, and have been sponsored by the American Legion Post 690 in Palatine for over 60 years serving the community and boys of the NorthWest Suburb of Chicago.

For the February 10th meeting we are helping Pack 335 with their Pinewood Derby. Starts at 6:30.

Please join Boy Scout Troop 69 for our Webelos Weekend on December 5-6, 2015 at the Barrington Scout Cabin, 426 E. Russell Street, from 10am on the 5th to 10am on the 6th!
Come out and meet the the scouts and leaders. There will be fun, food, fun, skills to learn, oh and did we say FUN!!! We will host a, “Are You More Skilled than an EAGLE Scout” competition, give you the opportunity to stay up all night, watch movies and eat popcorn, play random games and make some new friends. Come have FUN with Troop 69 at the Barrington Scout Cabin. Not only will you go home tired, you will complete an arrow of light requirement. Or, come for the day!

Troop 69 was founded in 1950 and is sponsored by American Legion Post 690. Troop 69 is a boy lead troop, using the patrol method. We currently have scouts ranging from fifth graders to seniors in high school. We meet every Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Legion Hall on Palatine Rd.

Come build Rocket Cars with Troop 69!
Troop 69 invites Webelos to join them for a STEM activity at the Boy Scout Discovery outpost in Woodfield Mall on October 18th from 2-5 PM.
Webelos are invited to build and race balloon/air powered cars out of soda bottles and soda bottle caps to take home. There will also be other fun activities.

Troop 69 is hosting a Webelos Engineering Night!!
Come out and join us on Wednesday, January 22nd, at 7:00p.m. We will be meeting at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church at 342 E. Wood Street in Palatine. (This is a temporary meeting space, as the American Legion Hall is being renovated.) All supplies for the activity will be provided, just come and have fun!
A light snack will be served.

Troop 69’s annual Gourmet Cooking Outing will be held from November 3rd to November 4th at the Cantigny Infantry Museum in Wheaton.
The Troop is inviting Webelos II’s and their families to the outing to learn more about the Troop and to partake in some good food. Daytime visitors are welcome, and the Troop will provide equipment for overnight camping. Just bring your own personal gear and sleeping gear!

Our next meeting will be our year-end Family Cookout and Court of Honor held this Wednesday, June 13th, 6:00 p.m (Note the earlier time) at Kimball Hill Park in Rolling Meadows.
Kimball Hill Park is located behind the Jewel on Kirchoff Road in Rolling Meadows.
