In 2012, Troop 69 attended summer camp at Camp Tesomas in Northern Wisconsin. A fun time was had by all! On the way up to camp, the Troop was able to take a tour of Miller Park in Milwaukee.

Troop 69 Invites Webelos To Gourmet Cooking Outing

Troop 69′s annual Gourmet Cooking Outing will be held from November 3rd to November 4th at the Cantigny Infantry Museum in Wheaton.

The Troop is inviting Webelos II’s and their families to the outing to learn more about the Troop and to partake in some good food. Daytime visitors are welcome, and the Troop will provide equipment for overnight camping. Just bring your own personal gear and sleeping gear!

June 13 Court of Honor

Our next meeting will be our year-end Family Cookout and Court of Honor held this Wednesday, June 13th, 6:00 p.m (Note the earlier time) at Kimball Hill Park in Rolling Meadows.

Kimball Hill Park is located behind the Jewel on Kirchoff Road in Rolling Meadows.

The whole family is welcome!

We need grills and cooks–we’ll be setting up at 5:30 and would appreciate any help parents want to give us at that time!

Bomber Patrol: Bring Side Dishes (Salads, Baked beans, fruit, etc.)
Border Patrol: Drinks
Venture Patrol: Desserts

As always, Scouts should be wearing their Class A uniforms.

Paddock School is located at:
225 West Washington Street

Class A uniforms are now to be worn at each meeting and when leaving and returning from an outing.
Also please bring your Scout handbooks.

April 25 Meeting Announcement

On April 25th, we will be meeting at the Harper College Pool at 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of this special meeting will be to conduct a swim test for ALL SCOUTS.

This swim test is REQUIRED in order for any Scout to attend our May whitewater rafting outing on May 11-13.

We will also be using this swim test to pre-qualify Scouts for summer camp at Camp Tesomas, giving us an extra half day to enjoy the camp rather than waiting around for the swim test there.

Please make sure you plan to join us at the Harper College Pool on Wednesday April 25th at 7:00 p.m. so you don’t miss out on the great whitewater rafting trip.

If you’re not going to be able to make it to the swim test but still want to join us on May 11-13, let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so we can look into the possibility of alternative arrangements (no guarantees that we’ll be able to accommodate you, but we’ll do our best).
